Let's take a deeper dive into everything the $1 billion, 60-acre VAI Resort will offer guests. The resort will be the largest in Arizona and a premier entertainment destination in the US, being located less than 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The VAI Resort will boast over 1,200 luxury rooms and suites across 3 stunning towers. It draws its inspiration from hotspots around the world including Mykonos, Dubai and Miami and has a $40 million, 360-degree concert stage at its core which is slated to host more than 100 globally known musical artists, comedians and DJs annually. Premium viewing will be available from select hotel room balconies and VIP skyboxes.
The resort will house 12 restaurants, 10 exclusive bars and lounges as well as a high-end retail corridor. It will also include a 6-acre swimming oasis and temperature-controlled white sand beaches with clear blue waters for year round enjoyment.
Konos Island is the country’s first man-made party island, featuring a restaurant, private cabanas, DJ booth and a 16-person aerial bar giving panoramic views from 130 feet in the sky. A tethered hot air balloon will offer guests panoramic views 400 feet in the air.
The VAI Resort is said to "revolutionize the world of experiential luxury hospitality, promising an indulgent escape from the ordinary."
The resort is also prioritizing water sustainability by building a system that allows the capturing of rainwater and reducing the amount of water necessary to compensate for evaporation. Water will be recycled for irrigation and landscaping and VAI Global Development is incorporating solar power in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint.
